The images above represent two types of marbling. First is “Sherbet Flame,” a watercolor marbled design. Next is a Japanese Suminagashi marbled design.

In addition to teaching at various art centers, I also teach from my home studio near State College. I will hold a class at your convenience for as few as four people, in case you have some friends who’d like to travel with you. My classes run from 10 AM to 3 PM, and most are $85.00 per person. You can learn watercolor marbling, suminagashi marbling on paper and silk, paste paper design, fold & dye techniques, simple papermaking and creative bookbinding.
